As a National Championship event, the Long Course XTERRA event is the only selection event for the 2017 ITU Cross-Tri World Championships to be held in Penticton, Canada on the 23rd of August 2017.
As the New Zealand National Championship event the Radix XTERRA Rotorua Festival is the primary selection event for The ITU Cross-Tri World Championships held in Penticton, Canada on the 23rd of August 2017

read the relevant selection policy and complete a selection nomination form. Important: You must complete theSelection Nomination form within two working days of the selection event race day.

Complete a selection nomination form no later than 2 working days following the selection race.
Finish within 20% of the winner of your age groups time (16 spaces available per age group for those that meet this requirement). Eligibility (direct from policy)
To be eligible for selection in a Tri NZ National Age Group Team, you MUST on selection race day:
4.1.Be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand 4.2 Be a current member of Tri NZ (TRIBE) and be in good standing with Tri NZ 4.3 Be a current member of a Tri NZ Affiliated Club (List of clubs available at www.triathlon.kiwi) |
